Creative storytelling has the power to drive meaningful change. So when Action Against Islamophobia approached us to deliver a project that moved beyond awareness and towards empowerment, we knew we needed to develop a multi-layered campaign that was anchored by a strong visual identity. With the tagline, Every Voice Matters, at the heart of our messaging, we invited people to share offensive and racist comments that were said to them, to highlight both the harm casual racism can bring, but also, hold an uncomfortable mirror to perpetrators and bystanders.

To accompany the bold campaign, we also produced a short film to capture the raw, personal stories of men and women who had faced Islamophobia, putting real faces to the impact of discrimination.

By creating a distinctive brand identity and executing a compelling storytelling approach, we helped AAI develop a campaign that was a call to action, to encourage reporting, and seek justice for lasting change.
