Bridging together the pain and beauty of their two cultures, Anso is an electronic musician redefining the music industry. Having studied at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Anso composes the type of work that makes you feel. There's nothing commercialised here; instead, their songs are filled with raw emotions as they confront the confusion of their cultural identities. As they effortlessly combine both Korean and English into their lyrics, each performance offers a new experience, even for Anso.

Some of Anso's earliest memories of performing are with their grandmother, standing together in their living room, singing hymns and making up movements to match. All those years later, Anso is still inventing and experimenting with their art. You can find them recording random sounds and manipulating them to create the eclectic music that has gathered its fair share of fans.
